Career Pathways Program
This program will combine non-accredited and accredited training in Child Care & Aged Care. The training includes accredited Senior First Aid (CPR) training, Blue Card Processing and Criminal History checks, required for Aged Care work. The project will target unrecognised skilled people, predominately parents or carers. The focus on employment and training in Childcare, early childhood education and welfare, Aged Care and elder support/welfare industries will constitute 4 groups of participants over a year, the course will conduct: two intakes for Childcare and two intakes for Aged Care.
The course also offers computer training for participants with existing computer skills, developing industry specific job applications - resume's, cover letters, positionreserch, and interview preparation.
