KENG offers the community a number of Courses and Workshops that are available to eligible participants for generally no cost. These courses and workshops allow participants to develop skills in computing, money management, and life skills.
The Computer Club
The Computer club is for community members to extend their opportunity of learning by allowing them to choose what they wanted to learn.
Financial Literacy
KENG in conjunction with The Smith Family will be providing FREE Financial Literacy courses throughout the year. Each session will be run by a trained facilitator. The course provides participants with activity sheets, workshop summaries and case studies.
Before We Begin
Before We Begin is a suite of programs being offered to parents to promote and foster bonding and attachment between children 0-5yrs and their parents. The Before We Begin program is being administered through Kingston East Neighbourhood Group, who ensures, through the inclusion of the Designated Family Centres, all families in Kingston, Loganlea & Waterford West have access to these programs.
Baby Think it Over
Having a baby may seem very exciting. Someone to love and care for, someone who will love you back unconditionally. But having a baby to care for will also have a huge impact on your life. Can you imagine what it would be like to find time to study, have fun with your friends, play sport, get a job or go out on dates?
